KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 — Hannah Yeoh announced a RM1 million allocation for the Downtown Kuala Lumpur Grants Programme 2026 to support heritage conservation and urban revitalisation.
The programme offers grants ranging from RM30,000 to RM100,000 for projects involving local communities, entrepreneurs and creative practitioners.
Hannah said the initiative aims to strengthen Kuala Lumpur’s cultural economy while making Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) a facilitator for growth.
Application guidelines will be announced by Think City, which is coordinating the programme.
