GEORGE TOWN, July 10 — Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow made his first official visit to Northern Heart Hospital Penang.
Where he was introduced to the hospital’s specialised cardiovascular services, advanced medical technologies and future development plans.
The hospital offers comprehensive cardiac and vascular care, including minimally invasive coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG).
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and specialised vascular procedures. It currently employs 325 staff, with about half being Penangites.
Reflecting its commitment to creating local employment while supporting the state’s growing healthcare ecosystem.
The hospital also reaffirmed its commitment to delivering world-class cardiac care through clinical excellence, innovation and patient-centred services.
