JOHOR BAHRU, July 11 — Election Commission (EC) Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) said voter turnout for the Johor state election reached 67.44% by 5pm.
With 1,809,185 of the state’s 2,682,642 registered voters casting their ballots. Sri Medan recorded the highest turnout at 77.2%, while Bekok registered the lowest at 58.9%. Polling closed at 6pm.
With vote counting beginning immediately after, and official results expected later tonight.
