JOHOR BAHRU, July 12 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) Johor election director and PKR vice-president Amirudin Shariadmitted the coalition’s disappointing performance after PH secured only eight of the 56 Johor state seats.
Amirudin described the outcome as “shocking” in several constituencies and said PH would conduct a post-mortem to review voter trends and campaign strategy ahead of the Negeri Sembilan election.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister and PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim congratulated Barisan Nasional (BN) on its victory, urging all parties to move forward and continue serving the people.
