KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — Weststar Group and Rocket Technologies International Pty Ltd have signed a Strategic Joint Venture Agreement to establish aerospace and defence ventures in Malaysia and Australia.
The partnership will focus on satellite systems, rocket testing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), launch capabilities, workforce development and research collaboration.
With long-term commercial potential exceeding USD10 billion, the initiative aims to strengthen sovereign industrial capabilities, create high-skilled jobs.
And deepen Malaysia–Australia cooperation in advanced aerospace, defence technologies and innovation.
