PUTRAJAYA, July 14 — Court of Appeal President and Federal Court judge Abu Bakar Jais said the postponement of the Federal Court’s decision in Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman’s case.
Due to the illness of Federal Court judge Datuk Che Mohd Ruzima Ghazali was not unprecedented. Abu Bakar said judges, like everyone else, could fall ill.
While Ruzima urged the public to comment responsibly. The court later dismissed the prosecution’s appeal in a 2–1 majority decision, upholding Syed Saddiq’s acquittal on all four charges.
