KUALA LUMPUR, July 14 — PETRONAS has signed a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) sale and purchase agreement with Shizuoka Gas Co., Ltd., strengthening a partnership that spans 30 years.
Under the agreement, PETRONAS will supply approximately 0.84 million metric tonnes of LNG over seven years, beginning in 2032.
The agreement aims to enhance Japan’s energy security through flexible and reliable LNG supplies while supporting both companies’ long-term collaboration and energy transition goals.
