KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 — Chief Secretary to the Government Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar said the government will implement a Hybrid Working Day (HWD) policy for civil servants from August 1.
Under the new arrangement, civil servants will work three days in the office and two days remotely each week. However, hybrid working days cannot be scheduled adjacent to weekends.
To prevent extended breaks. Shamsul Azri said the previous work-from-home initiative has saved RM7.3 million in fuel subsidies and reduced fuel consumption by more than 4 million litres since April.
