PETALING JAYA, July 15 — Former Bangi MP Ong Kian Ming said a Barisan Nasional (BN) victory in the Negeri Sembilan state election could intensify pressure on DAP to withdraw from the Unity Government.
Speaking on the Keluar Sekejap podcast, Ong said such an outcome could also strengthen calls for an early general election.
He noted that DAP delegates are expected to decide at the party’s special congress whether its leaders should continue serving in government positions.
Negeri Sembilan goes to the polls on August 1, with Pakatan Harapan (PH)and BN contesting all 36 state seats.
