KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 — Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Aiman Athirah Sabu said the government has rehabilitated 1,615 delayed, sick and abandoned housing projects.
Involving 190,422 homes worth RM150.86 billion between December 2022 and May 2026. She said the ministry also plans to introduce the National Housing Policy 2026–2035.
Which will use local household income and housing demand data to determine affordable home prices. The ministry has also blacklisted developers involved in abandoned projects.
And continues working with state governments to revive stalled developments.
