GEORGE TOWN, July 15 — PLUS Malaysia Berhad said the Juru–Sungai Dua Traffic Dispersal Project (PTJSD)has reached 28.75% completion and remains on schedule for completion in October 2027.
The RM3 billion, 17.3-kilometre project includes upgrades to the East–West Roundabout, a new elevated slip road and improved traffic light systems.
Once completed, the project is expected to benefit 200,000 daily road users, reduce congestion along the Juru–Sungai Dua corridor and cut peak-hour travel time from one hour to about 20 minutes.
