PETALING JAYA, July 16 — Bersatu will contest the Negeri Sembilan state election under its own party logo instead of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) symbol, Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin announced.
Muhyiddin said the Bersatu Supreme Council has authorised him to allow candidates from other parties to contest using the Bersatu logo.
The decision comes after PN failed to win any seats in the recent Johor state election amid ongoing differences between Bersatu and PAS.
PN is expected to announce its candidate line-up for the August 1 Negeri Sembilan election tomorrow.
