SEREMBAN, July 16 — Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said MCA will contest seven seats and MIC four seats in the Negeri Sembilan state election.
Zahid said the allocation was based on each candidate’s potential to win in their respective constituencies. He is scheduled to unveil BN’s full line-up later tonight.
Meanwhile, speculation continues over whether former Umno Youth chiefKhairy Jamaluddin could contest a state seat in Rembau.
And potentially be named BN’s Menteri Besar candidate if the coalition wins the August 1 election.
