KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 — Airbnb said a new survey found 85% of Malaysians consider being respectful homestay guests important.
With many citing common sense, respect and personal values as the main reasons. The survey also found two-thirds treat homestays like their own homes.
By washing dishes, taking out rubbish and tidying up before leaving. During the current durian season, nearly eight in 10 respondents said they would seek permission.
Eat outside or avoid bringing the fruit into shared accommodation. Airbnb added that over 97% of stays in Malaysia over the past year were completed without complaints or reported issues.
