KUALA LUMPUR, July 20 — PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang rejected Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s claim that Perikatan Nasional (PN) had become “toxic” under PAS.
Saying the coalition’s internal problems stemmed from Bersatu’s conduct instead. Hadi also said PAS intends to strengthen its cooperation with Barisan Nasional beyond the Negeri Sembilan election.
Meanwhile, Muhyiddin maintained that Bersatu is now Parliament’s only standalone Opposition party, arguing that the party must remain an independent check on the government amid changing political alliances.
