SEREMBAN, July 20 — DAP secretary-general and Transport Minister Anthony Loke said MCA’s decision not to contest Lobak, Mambau and Lukut had indirectly improved DAP’s chances.
Of retaining the three Negeri Sembilan seats. Loke claimed the move was part of a wider Barisan Nasional–Perikatan Nasional arrangement to avoid splitting votes.
He expressed confidence that DAP could retain all 11 seats it is contesting and support Pakatan Harapan’s bid to form the state government.
Separately, Loke instructed campaign teams to wear helmets when riding motorcycles and warned supporters against travelling on the tailgates of moving vehicles.
He said parties should pursue victory without compromising road safety or breaking traffic laws.
