GEORGE TOWN, July 20 — Paya Terubong Assemblyman Wong Hon Wai and Penang Island City Council (MBPP) Mayor Datuk Rajendran Anthony inspected the Farlim Medan Angsana Basketball Court to discuss proposed upgrades.
Wong said the court has become a popular community sports venue since opening in September 2024, hosting official basketball tournaments and daily recreational activities.
He said the planned improvements, based on public feedback, aim to enhance user experience, support competitive events and further promote grassroots sports and healthy living in Paya Terubong.
