KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 — Former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said Barisan Nasional’s cooperation with Perikatan Nasional in the Negeri Sembilan election.
Is intended to send a message to Pakatan Harapan not to take BN and Umno for granted. Khairy said the election will also test whether consolidating Malay votes through BN-PN cooperation.
Could become a winning formula in states such as Selangor. However, he stressed that BN should remain in the federal unity government until the next general election to preserve political stability.
