KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 — Maxis Berhad has apologised following the alleged leak of influencer Khairul Aming’saccount information.
Saying its investigation found the case involved an isolated unauthorised action. The telecommunications company said all customer account access is logged and monitored.
With no indication that other customers were affected. Maxis added that it has identified the individual linked to the incident and is taking immediate action, including legal proceedings.
The company also said it is contacting the affected customer and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting customers’ personal data.
