BUKIT MERTAJAM, July 22 — Police have announced temporary road closures and traffic diversions in conjunction with the St. Anne’s Festival 2026 at the Minor Basilica of St. Anne, which runs until July 26.
Road closures along Jalan Kulim, from the Caltex station to the Taman Bukit Indah traffic lights, will be in effect from 9am on July 25 until 2pm on July 26.
Additional phased closures on Jalan Kampung Baru and Jalan Berjaya will take place from 7pm to 11pm on July 25 to facilitate the annual candle procession.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, plan their journeys early and follow instructions from police and traffic personnel.
