KUALA LUMPUR, July 24 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government is prepared to release the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH).
After the institution regained financial stability through restructuring and governance reforms. Anwar said publication was previously delayed to avoid triggering panic withdrawals among depositors.
While TH underwent recovery. He added the report could be released as early as today, subject to procedural checks, or after next Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting.
TH recorded a 3.50 per cent profit distribution for the 2025 financial year, its highest since 2018.
