JEMPOL, July 25 — Perikatan Nasional (PN) Election Director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has dismissed the proposal to name the PN-Barisan Nasional electoral cooperation.
“Perikatan Barisan Nasional (PBN)”, saying it was merely a personal suggestion by Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin. Sanusi said the matter had never been discussed by coalition leaders.
And described the proposed name as cosmetic rather than policy-related. He added that PN remains focused on winning all 11 seats it is contesting in the Negeri Sembilan state election, while assisting BN in its campaign.
