KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 — Resorts World Genting has officially unveiled the 20 semi-finalists for the 21st Malaysia National Lion Dance Championship 2026.
Following the semi-final draw ceremony at Wisma Genting. The semi-finals will take place on Sept 26, with the top 10 troupes advancing to the grand final on Sept 27 at the Arena of Stars.
The national champion will receive RM20,000 and earn the opportunity to represent Malaysia at next year’s Genting World Lion Dance Championship.
A cultural exhibition will also open at the Genting Guest Xperience Centre from Aug 1 ahead of the competition.
