BUTTERWORTH, July 26 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has directed relevant ministries and agencies to resolve foreign worker employment applications within one month.
With priority given to the restaurant sector to address labour shortages. Anwar said the government would ensure recruitment remains controlled while meeting the needs of key industries.
Separately, he said the Cabinet is expected to decide on the public release of the Tabung Haji Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report at its meeting next Wednesday.
Adding that he supports making the report public in accordance with due process.
