KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 — Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung 990 SSD, offering high-speed storage for gamers, content creators and PC users.
Available in 1TB and 2TB models, the PCIe 4.0 SSD delivers sequential read speeds of up to 7,250 MB/s and write speeds of 6,450 MB/s.
While improving power efficiency by up to 38% over its predecessor. The SSD also supports Samsung Magician Software for drive management and optimisation.
It will be available in Malaysia from end-July 2026, priced at RM1,069 for the 1TB model and RM2,111 for the 2TB version.
