CYBERJAYA, July 29 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the government will provide three months of free access to leading AI software for youths who complete AI courses.
Under the Rakyat Digitalprogramme. The initiative, targeting 100,000 Malaysians aged 18 to 30, forms part of the newly launched AI Malaysia initiative to accelerate AI literacy and adoption.
The programme, scheduled to begin on Aug 31, will include modules on AI safety, generative AI, agentic AI and cloud computing, supporting Malaysia’s ambition to become a regional AI innovation hub.
