PUTRAJAYA, July 30 — The Cabinet has agreed to declassify and release the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today.
Marking a key step towards greater transparency and accountability. The government said the report will also be tabled and debated at a special Dewan Rakyat sitting.
The Cabinet noted that 75% of the report’s 25 recommendations have already been implemented and acknowledged TH’s improved financial position.
It also directed enforcement agencies to continue investigations immediately, with legal action to be taken if any violations of the law are established.
