KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department M. Kulasegaran said the Election Commission (EC) is conducting a comprehensive study on expanding postal voting.
To voters across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Kulasegaran said the study, which includes consultations with political parties and other stakeholders.
Is expected to be completed in 2027 before any decision is made. He also said the government is open to reviewing proposals to place the EC under Parliament instead of the Prime Minister’s Department.
