PETALING JAYA, July 31 — CelcomDigi Berhad has partnered with IPification to provide network-based mobile identity verification for major global social media platforms.
As Malaysia’s first telco to collaborate with IPification, CelcomDigi will offer trusted network APIs that verify mobile numbers without relying solely on SMS OTPs.
The solution aims to strengthen account registration, login and recovery while reducing fake accounts, identity fraud and account takeovers, supporting safer AI-powered digital experiences and online trust.
