SHAH ALAM, July 31 — The Selangor government will provide employment and retraining support for about 400 workers.
Affected by the closure of Panasonic AVC Networks Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Sdn Bhd’s television production plant.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the state will work with PERKESO and the Selangor Labour Department to help affected employees secure new jobs.
Including through the Selangor JobCare Carnival, while entrepreneurship training will also be offered where needed.
