KUALA LUMPUR, August 1 — Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said the ministry is developing a big data analytics platform to help developers align housing supply.
With market demand through data-driven planning. Speaking at the AREC Forum 2026, he said the platform will improve housing planning while reducing mismatches between available homes and buyers’ needs.
Nga also announced that the proposed Real Property Development Act is in its final drafting stage as part of wider housing reforms to strengthen governance, improve transparency.
