SEREMBAN, August 2 — Voter turnout in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election reached 65.38% as of 4pm, with 562,133 of the 859,760 registered voters having cast their ballots.
According to the Election Commission (EC). The turnout exceeded the 61.89% recorded at the same time during the 2023 state election.
Kota recorded the highest turnout at 72.1%, followed by Seri Menanti and Labu at 70.9% each. The lowest turnout was recorded in Bahau, Lukut and Lobak.
Each at about 59%. Polling closed at 6pm, with the EC targeting an overall turnout of 72% to 75%.
