SEREMBAN, August 3 — Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong said Tekun Nasional has disbursed RM36 million to about 1,500 entrepreneurs.
In Negeri Sembilan as of June, while RM540 million has been provided to 25,600 entrepreneurs nationwide. Sim said Tekun aims to issue decisions on financing applications of RM100,000.
And below within seven days, while applications of RM20,000 and below are targeted to receive a decision within 24 hours.
He also stressed that financing applications are assessed professionally based on eligibility and do not require support letters from political leaders.
