PUTRAJAYA, August 4 — Umno information chief Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said cooperation between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) is not a fixed arrangement.
Stressing that any alliance depends on the political landscape of each state. She said the Negeri Sembilan election outcome should not be viewed as affecting the Federal Unity Government.
As state and federal politics are separate. Azalina added that while BN and PN cooperated in Negeri Sembilan, political arrangements differ across states, citing Sabah and potentially Melaka as examples.
She also stressed that the unity government remains intact until the 16th General Election, as previously agreed by its leadership.
