KUALA LUMPUR, August 5 — Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad said Malaysia’s healthcare reforms must be driven by accurate, evidence-based data to strengthen the national health system.
He said the Ministry of Health is pursuing long-term reforms, including healthcare digitalisation, sustainable financing and improving the welfare of frontline healthcare workers.
Speaking at the 11th Asia Congress of Toxicology (ASIATOX-XI), Dzulkefly also welcomed Malaysia’s role as host of the regional congress for the first time.
The event also marked the launch of the Asian Registered Toxicologist (ART)initiative to promote professional standards across the region.
