GEORGE TOWN, August 5 — Penang has launched its “Fall in Love with Penang” domestic tourism campaign to encourage Malaysians to rediscover the state’s heritage, culture, food and attractions.

Ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026 and 2027. Officiated by State EXCO for Tourism and Creative Economy Wong Hon Wai, the campaign features a revamped tourism website.

N new promotional video, collaborations with Penang-born content creators and strategic promotions with Trip.com. Wong said domestic tourism remains a key pillar of Penang’s visitor economy.
