SEREMBAN, August 7 — Negeri Sembilan’s newly appointed State Executive Council (Exco) members will be sworn in before Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.
At Istana Besar Seri Menanti this morning. Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim, who took office on Aug 2, is expected to attend the ceremony. The new state administration was formed.
After Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) secured 25 of the 36 seats in the recent state election, giving the coalition a two-thirds majority in the State Legislative Assembly.
