KUALA LUMPUR, August 10 — More than 4,000 DAP delegates will gather on Aug 16 to debate the party’s direction amid growing concerns over stalled institutional reforms.
National organising secretary Datuk Chan Foong Hin said reforms including a 10-year limit on the prime minister’s tenure and separating the Attorney General and Public Prosecutor roles.
Have faced insufficient parliamentary support. The congress will allow delegates to assess DAP’s three-and-a-half years in government.
And determine its direction for the remainder of the parliamentary term.
