TAIPING, August 10 — Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said Bersatu remains a member of PN.
Contradicting PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang’s claim that its membership had automatically ended. Hadi previously argued that Bersatu’s plans to form another political alliance.
Triggered provisions in PN’s constitution. Bersatu rejected the interpretation, maintaining that no automatic termination clause applies and that it has yet to join another coalition.
Samsuri said Bersatu’s status remains unchanged and the party is free to refer the dispute to the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
