PUCHONG, August 11 — IOI Properties Group Bhd has partnered with Marriott International to develop The Westin Puchong, the town’s first internationally branded five-star hotel.
With an investment of RM500 million. Scheduled to open by the end of June 2030, the 324-room hotel will serve as the hospitality anchor of the RM12 billion IOI Rio Citymaster plan.
The project is expected to create 220 jobs and cater to business, leisure and MICE travellers with a grand ballroom, meeting facilities and four dining outlets.
Upon completion, IOI Properties’ hospitality portfolio will expand to 3,982 rooms across Malaysia, Singapore and China.
Reinforcing its strategy to grow recurring income through hospitality and investment properties.
