KUALA LUMPUR, August 11 — Selangor Bersatu Youth (ARMADA) has rejected claims that Bersatu betrayed Perikatan Nasional (PN) following seat clashes during the Negeri Sembilan election.
Its chief Na’im Brundage alleged Bersatu representatives were prevented from attending a July 16 PN Supreme Council meeting that discussed seat allocations and cooperation with Barisan Nasional.
He claimed the exclusion violated Clause 7.1 of PN’s constitution, which provides component parties with participation and voting rights.
The statement came after Selangor PAS Youth proposed that PAS take over PN’s leadership in the state, accusing Bersatu of undermining the coalition.
