SUBANG, August 11 — XCEL ITECH Sdn. Bhd. has delivered Malaysia’s first collaborative train driving simulator, KLAV27, to Prasarana Malaysia Berhad under the Industry Collaboration Programme (ICP).
The simulator allows multiple trainees to operate together in a realistic virtual rail environment, improving operational skills, decision-making and emergency preparedness.
Chief Executive Officer Ir. Badrul Hisham said the project demonstrates the capability of Malaysian companies to develop advanced rail technologies.
The system recreates the 46.4-kilometre Kelana Jaya Line, including all 37 stations and a depot, to support more effective rail operator training.
