CUPERTINO, August 13 — Apple is expected to refresh the Mac Studio later this year with new M5 Max and M5 Ultraprocessors after a delay linked to global memory shortages.
The flagship M5 Ultra is rumoured to feature up to 36 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores and support as much as 768GB of unified memory, offering a significant performance boost.
Over the current M3 Ultra model. Looking ahead, reports suggest Apple’s 2028 Mac Studio could debut with M7 Max and M7 Ultra chips.
