GEORGE TOWN, August 13 — Burger & Lobster Penang has brought its celebrated London dining concept to Kimberly Street, placing an international restaurant experience within the historic heart of George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Sleek and contemporary, the restaurant presents an interesting contrast against the neighborhoods heritage shophouses and longstanding food culture.
Yet the concept remains refreshingly focused: lobster, premium beef and generous food designed for sharing. Founded in London in 2011, Burger & Lobster began with a deliberately simple philosophy.
Centred on wild-caught lobster and prime-cut beef. That identity continues in Penang through the signatures that established its international reputation.
A Closer Look at the Lobster Experience
During a special media session, restaurant staff offered guests a closer look at the lobsters behind the brand’s signature dishes. Live lobsters were presented tableside.
Giving media guests an opportunity to see their impressive size and distinctive claws up close. The session also included a demonstration of the handling and preparation process.
