PUCHONG, August 13 — Former Subang MP Wong Chen has officially joined Bersama after resigning from his parliamentary seat and leaving PKR.
Bersama chairman Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli announced Wong’s membership at the party’s headquarters today.
Wong, who served as an MP for more than 13 years, apologised to his former constituents for stepping down before Parliament’s dissolution but said he had no regrets over his years of public service.
He said his decision to resign and leave PKR was driven by his commitment to democracy and the Federal Constitution, adding that his conscience remained clear.
