KUALA LUMPUR, August 14 — Kelana Jaya LRT services returned to normal at 10.25am Thursday following a power supply disruption near Universiti station, Rapid KL said.
The disruption began around 9.28am and left a train stranded between Taman Jaya and Universiti stations. Passengers were safely transferred to a rescue train before continuing their journeys, with no injuries reported.
Rapid KL temporarily introduced alternative services while technical teams conducted safety checks. The affected train has been sent to the depot for inspection to determine the cause of the disruption.
