MELAKA, August 15 — PKR deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar has urged the party to remain true to its Reformasi principles and avoid being consumed by internal divisions.

Speaking at the Wanita PKR and PKR Youth congresses, she warned against becoming what the party once opposed and said political compromise should never open the door to corruption.

Nurul Izzah also cautioned against “two captains steering one ship” and hidden power structures, saying internal disputes divert attention from winning public confidence.

Set to take leave from her position to further her studies, she stressed that leadership must safeguard public trust rather than pursue power.
