GEORGE TOWN, August 14 — Penang Pakatan Harapan (PH) will maintain its cooperation with Barisan Nasional (BN) and Umno in the state government, chairman Chow Kon Yeow said on Thursday.
Chow said the decision remained unchanged despite criticism from DAP adviser Lim Guan Eng. “Nobody questioned it,” he said, referring to Wednesday’s engagement with northern DAP delegates.
Penang PH had unanimously decided to retain BN’s sole state executive councillor, Rashidi Zinol. Lim previously criticised the decision and called for Penang PH to act decisively.
Over its relationship with BN following recent political tensions.
