MELAKA, August 15 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced Saturday that the government will repeal the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971.
After previous amendments failed to satisfy demands for greater student freedom. Speaking at the PKR National Congress, Anwar also said those responsible for losses involving Tabung Haji.

Anwar separately rejected claims that his government had sidelined certain states, saying federal allocations had increased.
