GEORGE TOWN, August 15 — Motorists along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah should expect intermittent partial lane closures for 73 days as preliminary works for the Penang Mutiara Line LRT continue.
From Aug 19 to Oct 31, the leftmost lane between the residential area near Tapak Pesta and JPJ Batu Uban towards KOMTAR will be affected between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
Other lanes will remain open throughout the works. The closure will facilitate drainage relocation and road widening under the Mutiara Line CMC1 package.
Motorists are advised to follow directional signs and on-site traffic instructions.
